First lesson Monday was a low ability Y10 group. Because I was ready at the door and had the starter prepared for the group this time the atmosphere was much calmer (Q30). During form time, the form teacher highlighted pupil’s attendance and incidents on the IWB using a spreadsheet. The figures displayed pupils attendance compared to their attendance last month. This also applied with the number of behavioural incidents. The form teacher explained that these figures will be looked closely over the next few weeks and pupils need t improve their figures (Q4). Very intense week with after school department meeting, Q6, Y11 parent evening and the AT presentation.  Some parents behaviour during the parent evening meetings was not fitting to the circumstances, but the staff dealt with it very professionally.  Q4 Q5I have been team teaching a Y10 class since my placement started. During the last two weeks I feel like I've become much more confident as a teacher and in my own abilities. I've been developing my behaviour management by spotting key individuals and speaking to them before the situation develops (Q31). This led to my mentor having a meeting with the pupil’s parents just before school began. Because of this meeting, interventions have been put in place to offer the pupil support.
